Staff Training and Certification

Tobias Landberg, Ph.D., is the Director of the Conservation Research Bridge Program and also the Director of Research at the Amphibian Foundation. He has 25+ years of teaching, research and mentoring experience. He's co-authored over a dozen papers with his students and been awarded competitive grants from the National Science Foundation and the Center for Craft among others. His students have won best student presentations at national scientific meetings and he has earned multiple mentoring awards.

Executive Director of the Amphibian Foundation, Mark Mandica, has extensive field work and animal husbandry experience working with critically endangered species and is an accomplished scientific illustrator. He has given over a hundred public talks and invited seminars about amphibians. He teaches several engaging and highly in-demand classes on the Biology of Amphibians, the Biology of Reptiles and has developed and teaches the only Master Herpetologist certificate program in the world.
